i believe --just believing-- that i am still convelescing from the most recent bout of psychic flu. the mental symptoms are still stable, but? ? ? could it be that my 69 year young heart doesn't bounce back quite as quickly as my 30 year old heart did? seems like i need more time to recover from any new injury these days. even thumping my thigh on a bed frame bruises me more easily with longer recovery times. ah. . . to be young at heart.
the gut knots are still up to their knotty mischief and the heart palpitations and a few other physical stress symptoms continue, but? ? ? they are not worse enough to get this skeptical old doctorphobe to study her insurance provider listings.
just an update. . . i believe i am holding steady. prayers ongoing. . .
today i leave the mood icon squarely on, "okay." i've had better days, but i'm holding steady through the stormy sees.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

You've left all options on the table!!!... Love what LMA wrote... Prayers sent... xo
i'm not much of an LMA fan, but that particular quote is among my faves.
peace, love and drugs, baby.
yeah, i think i already told you that my first steady psych pro diagnosed me with "civilian shell shock" and put me in his combat shell shock therapy group. the shell shock therapy made allot more sense to me than my ptsd therapy has.
there was around 20 years between there and ptsd becoming an official thing. manic depression/bipolar treatment was all we had to work with after "hawkeye" finished his third tour of duty. ya works with what's available.
for sure, i am grateful i didn't wait until the better name for ^it^ arrived.
side note
i checked in on jose mujica recently. our peaceful warrior is still warring peacefully. he just might earn a place next to thoreau, ghandi, MLK and ceasar chavez. maybe. he's still living, so he isn't quite ready for beatification.
i adore peaceful warriors.
