I used Paxil with Klonipine for a few years really helped to release a lot of repressed angry for a short time.

Honestly, durring the breif period that I took paxil it did not help me at all. Like lostcity, I take Klonopin and I do get some releif from the fear when I take it.

I seem to have a combination of what others mentioned - it sort of "dropped the wall" and let out all the anger i had been carrying around for years..which wasn't really pleasant for those around me. then it was absoloute h*** when they took me off. The anger didn't return, just left is big hole where the core of anger that had been supporting me for years had been. It took a while to work through Paxil's effect on me. I now take a little of this and a little of that, with a LOT of Lamictal...but it was trial and error with my shrink to find what worked for me. but everyone is different....I take a very small dose of Klonopin at bedtime for the sedating effect and to help reduce the nightmares (flashbacks). good luck, take care

Paxil wored as long as I didn't miss even one dose/I missed one dose and I crashed big time , missed 2 and went into a crying fit.I din't like that effect, pharmacy didn't have it once and I had to stay somewhere else one night and missed a dose and Crashed hard.Doctor told me alot of people experiance this on Paxil so I switched to Prozac.

I was on Prozac for a long time. The doctors decided they wanted to see if I was bi-polar so they put me on Paxil for about a week. I didn't notice any changes.

Zoloft also works.
