Overwhelmed,Trauma/PTSD & healthcare

I’m having a tough time. I deal with many many diagnoses & chronic pain ect. as a result of severe trauma & I’ll be honest in saying that going to doctor appointments and trying to navigate the healthcare system.... well
I feel there is a sort of stigma with PTSD & I’m trying my best to advocate for myself & be okay but it pains me physically & hurts my heart.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Support to you!
I was wrong. An entire extra tenure committee meeting was called to discuss my PTSD recovery in detail, my work at Daily Strength, and to ask me questions about it for an hour. I did get tenure, but I realized the stigma was still there even with a psychology professor as a vice president, and my being a Leader on Daily Strength.
Your pain in your heart from stigma is real. That's why it's so great we have each other here to talk to. Sending you my support.
I have had PTSD for a LONG time... probably from a very dysfunctional childhood... led to anger issues, hyper-sensitive to any criticism... it got MUCH worse in '97 when I combined weed, booze, ephedra and a antidepressant called Serzone... and had a major meltdown/Panic attack... almost for sure due mostly to the Serzone. Since then, till now... anxiety and depression... sometimes mild, sometimes bad... but always there...
I was this week diagnosed with a DVT/blood clot in my lower right leg. As expected, I am really stressed about it, and also about the nasty meds they are pushing me to take (Eliquis) or Warfarin. I found a really interesting alternative, which is taking Nattokinase, Serrapeptase and Lumbrokinase... problem is, there is not a lot of hard data on these,a Big Pharma can only profit from hardcore DRUGS, not un-patentable enzymes.
I have found two things that really help my PTSD... I smoke a very small amount of marijuana nightly, and during the day, I take L-Theanine... I have some Xanax if anxiety gets really bad... but usually do not need it. I might try a SSRI again, like maybe Paxil... I was on Celexa for a few years long ago, and it helped, but sort of turned me into a bit of a zombie... better than anxious and depressed... but not great.
This DVT is really having such a negative effect on my life... which was not joyful to begin with... wondering if a clot will break loose and kill me, and faced with Meds that would likely make me sick and dizzy for many months... or life...
Nattokinase, and Serrapeptase just might really help with chronic pain/fibromyalgia...
You guys really do understand, & I’m truly sorry you understand as well.
For me knowing I’m not alone in these struggles is a double edged sword because, because I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
Thank you guys for all for your empathy, support & grace. I’m having a hard night so I might be writing a little funny, but I wanted to respond with gratitude.
Big hugs <3
