Over the last few weeks a feel of Fall infected the mornings and got my gardening juices flowing, big time, with the cooler temperatures in the morning. Afternoons were still hot, but the morning break from the heat felt divine.
It was just a tease. The temps are back into the 100's this week. Ouch. I am so-o-o-o-o tired of being hot all the time. Geez. . . You'd think it's Summer in Central Texas, or something. . .

Today I make the best of it, took the convertible out and went picture taking, found a couple old rusty tractors and so other cool stuff. A successful hunt and a good distraction for my loneliness and off day. I come home and had to shower again. lol
Another couple weeks and it should settle into cool nights, cool morning and warm afternoon. That is when the arthritis really starts to flare up for me.
Sorry your gardening did not work out for you. Maybe you can pot some plants indoors?
