OT - Solstice Countdown

Calendars are one of my hobby passions. While the Gregorian Calendar - currently the most widely used calendar in the world - divvies up the year mathematically to evenly track the solar year, I still feel more in tune with the lunar calendars which track the Circadian Rhythms such as the moon phases, Equinoxes and Solstices. What they lack in annual consistency they make up for in local/environmental consistency.

Anyhoo. . . The countdown is on. Solstice happens December 22nd, 4:48 Universal Time. That would be December 21st, 10:48 pm in Central Texas. Only one more day until I start getting more minutes of sunlight!

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
