I expected the big room painting project to stretch on forever. It is an extremely complicated room. Almost as complicated as the DIL's storage unit. But hubs took Thursday and Friday off work and we verily swept through it, adding two shelving units to help organize the bee goods. As a bonus, the honey bottles glow an intriguing array of amber highlights in their new and improved honey shelf. The shelves are open so that the outside and room light shine through them.

The big room is not quite done, but it already looks better than it has in the four years we've been here.

Since I've been back, I have not been quite sure hubs was worth coming back here for. I have been feeling overwhelmed by the busy man and not quite sure my poet would survive the executive siege. Feeling better about it.

Just an update. Good weekends never seem as newsworthy as the family drama.

Guess we got a bit of that, too. Eldest son asked if he could move back in. Synopsis: We said, "No." He said, "Okay." in respectful tones.
