;-) Just kidding ;-)
Don't forget the simplest of all: nasal irrigation (NeilMed bottle or Neti Pot or ... whatever). Rinse it out before it has a chance to put in a Post Office Change of Address TO your sinuses.
I still have the 12-year old sinusitis..it's more like the sinusitis crawling into the chest...it keeps trying to crawl in my ears too.
Apparently it's more autoimmune thingy than infection...Samter's triad is asthma, sinusitis with polyps, and NSAIDS sensitivity. I finally got that last recently, I now cannot take ibuprofen or aspirin for headaches.
...Or rather I can, but then I can't breathe well at all. So migraine versus gasping like a beached fish, unless I have Tylenol. I have Tylenol.
...This has a middle-age onset, apparently, for most people who end up with Samter's. Giggity.

I can't take allergy medications either and had awful sinus and ear problems as a child, I had my adenoids removed and plugs in my ears until I was 12.
I feel ya!
@ Lilly- try gargling with hot salt water, tilt your head back. This can help get the gurgly crud out of your ears. Hot white tea can also help, yes, you can gargle that.
You can irrigate with Benadryl, you break a capsule into the water...
