Hey, y'all, just a heads up as CL in DS PTSD that tomorrow I'm flying back from the bottom of Mexico to the States, so I may not be on our board in the daily way that I usually am.  I may actually be here more since the cheap plane tickets I get have lots of layovers in airports and wifi's everywhere these days.  I'll be traveling from 6am here to midnight there, so methinks I'll get online in those 18 hours along the way somehow.  If not, though, wish me happy trails and I'll catch y'all Thursday.  Be well everybody.

Thanks, y'all. It turns out that I've been traveling since 6am when my cab came to pick me up at my house in Mexico, and here in Dallas, TX nearly 12 hours later at an airport bar is my first wifi opportunity to log in. Nothing to report except that I got stuck for hours seated from Mexico City to Dallas in the midst of a hapless mom and her 3 cute small sons who were quite animated for hours.

Ol' Muji could use a libation at this point. Nothing really wrong, though, boys will be boys. Only 1 connection more to make I'll be back at my USA apartment so I can start closing up shop by month's end and move back to Mexico permanently as a retiree come July. Thanks for your support on the journey.

I didn’t realise it would be such a long trip for you. Glad it’s nearly over. I’m sure those kid’s mother will be too.
Just remember the reason you are travelling and what a worthwhile goal you have. I’d love to be on a plane going somewhere. The animated kids might even be bearable considering lol.

Those discount plane tickets of mine have lots of stops and layovers. So I left the house at 6am on Wed in Mexico but didn't get to my USA house until 2:30am Thu. So I picked up my month's worth of mail at the local post office, and then hit the hay to catch up on sleep. Just woke up and paid my bills from here in the US, and did my daily walk.

    Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it.  Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.
