Yay for the students that are there for the right reasons and will get so much more from the class.
hate you??? jeez muj, i couldn't see anyone doing that. i'm glad you're not letting it get the better of you.
The crutches don't sound a bit fun. i keep trying to invent crutch buffers out of bubble wrap in my mind - maybe they have some sort of real ones at the drug store - i will give it a search.
Not knowing, scary.
Knowing now though, scary.
She's way, way into the Dark Side of the Force. Death stare for a full 50 minutes. Never cracked a book, never took a note, never flinched, never looked at anyone but me. I wouldn't be surprised if she never blinked the whole time. I mean her stare seriously would melt Darth Vader's helmet like a toasted marshmallow.
Thing is, though, I told myself there's 1 of her and 3 of the nice students, so I make myself do the math over and over so my PTSD doesn't just catastrophize about the 1. I am SO PROUD of myself that I made an appointment to have 1 of the 3 nice ones come back. That way I wouldn't just fixate on dreading the next class with the 1 Darth Vader killer death stare student. I would have 1 good thing in store at school. That was a new, smart, anticipating PTSD move for me, I've gotta say.
She deserves to be treated like the child she is portraying and told to leave the room. She should be sent to the principles office.
I know this is a college and that it would probably be the deans office. I'm just expressing my visual of this childish person.
Glad you had a more positive experience with the others.

A song blaine (Walking Buffalo) shared way back, I stored in a picture I made for here. Time for a re-play
