So glad you posted this today. I just got news from my 1st best friend Danny that my 2nd best friend Deb died. I'm in shock and grief stricken, so it helps not to be alone.

It's Monday now. How's the week ahead looking for you? For me it's kind of strange, what with moving to teach online from home rather than going in to teach in the classroom at my community college campus.

It's convenient to work from home, but it makes it hard to tell one day from another for me. Yesterday church was called off, too. So there's not the usual difference in activities from a Sunday to a Monday. Anybody else experiencing this?

i am pretty used to being at home alone all day.
But when i do go out the widespread panic and uneasiness is palpable.

Thanks, sil. I got out and about today because it was the day for my monthly psychiatrist's appointment today. I was surprised he wanted to keep the appointment, but I was glad to have an excuse to get out there.

On the way back I stopped by the supermarket. Folks were still hoarding toilet paper. Not that I'm any less crappy than the next guy, but I don't get the fixation on that one product. I got a few other things instead.

When I got home, as long as I was out I visited my next door neighbor. She and I have a deal not to infect anybody but each other if we've got this C-19. She let me vent a while in her living room. Good egg.

It turned out to be a good day, sil. What can I say? I take social distancing during this outbreak seriously, but it wasn't a bad Monday, considering we're truly in the midst of another apocalypse and all.
