For the last few months I've occasionally been having a new symptom (I think). I get this maybe once or twice a week.
It's like my body having a panic attack without me actually having one. Like my mind and my body having different oppinions about it, my body going into panic mode while my mind is like 'lol nope'.
My heart starts pounding harder, my breath gets quicker, cold sweat, my face becomes pale etc. but in my mind I feel normal, calm, sometimes even relaxed. I am just slightly more irritable than usually. It usually lasts minutes, sometimes up to an hour. Afterwards I am more susceptible to triggers for a few hours.
I'm not on any meds and I'm not sick either. I also have no idea what sets this off.
Have any of you eperienced this or something similar?

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I think it might be related to my nightmares. I'm not entirely sure because I don't always remember but now that I think about it, I think I get this the day after having one. I don't know, it's just weird.
If it doesn't go away I might go to the doc again, just to be sure it isn't something physical.
Try and write down at the moment it happens what you are thinking and feeling. Try remembering what you were thinking just before it happened. It might help you get to the root of the trigger. My guess is that you mind is wandering and you are getting triggered.
Do you have something you can do or try to calm you down? Deep breathing? Distractions?
I hope you find something that works to get these under control.
((hugs))
I don't know if I am explaining it well, but. . . It is only a theory, anyway.
