So...I have all my issues tied up in pretty boxes with even prettier bows. They are stacked neatly...or they were. Now the inside of my head looks like freakin' christmas morning at the home of a family of 12. I am trying to find a counselor and ended up with a 3 page list of names but I'm having trouble finding someone taking new patients.I knew it would be hard finding help so I kept putting it off. Now i am going full force into my bitchy, snarky cycle and no help in sight. I am jumpy, skin feels crawly, and I flipped off 2 people on my commute home. Breathe in...breathe out.
Thanks for reading my babble.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I know I'm that frustrated when I start making up songs (songs not fit for public singing) about the driving habits of people pulling bad stunts in my proximity.
When you figure out how to be calm in those instances, please tell me, will you?
guayaba, I make up those songs too! Sometimes I do the Mister Rogers voice ..."can you say d*****bag?" I have a potty mouth.
Don't mean to upset anyone who's really attached to their M.S.W. therapist, nor to say they aren't qualified. Just that I've got 3 varieties of trauma in my history, and while I found M.S.W.'s to be great with the first two, sexual and domestic, in my own experience alone I found them in particular to be not as prepared in the third area, combat trauma. So I began looking for therapists who also had VA experience. It was tough, but I found one, and finally got help in that area, too.
Your situation is undoubtedly not like that, but whatever it is, you might be able to narrow it done in your own way along similar lines, but for your particular needs. Good luck. It's a bear dealing with health care in the USA what with insurance bureaucracy and all. It's enough to make a saint want to flip the world the bird once or twice.
While you sort through that gnarly list of candidates, vent away here. Sometimes it even helps.
