Hi I'm new to this type of support group. I have had PTSD for many years and l was able to put it into remission. Lately my Transgender spouse, wife, husband, and whatever this is has been rude, mean, aggressive, and just not what I'm adapted to because of hormones. My PTSD is triggered from our fights and I'm back to chest pain, shakes, and jerks. I have no one talk to because she wanted me to change my number over jelousey ( which is also new because we were in an open relationship before our marriage) . Can anyone help me with techniques. I'm so lost I can't remembered how to calm myself. My kids need me.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Being in any type of an abusive relationship would be a big trigger....
I don't quite understand how you're identifying your partner however perhaps you could work with a therapist/doctor together if you're having problems..... If hormones are to blame then this should be brought up with a trained professional
You and your children shouldn't be in an abusive situation .....
This is a great board.... I'm glad that you've found us..... Big hug......xo
Yup, there's nothing like a rousing round of domestic tit-for-tat to get my PTSD symptoms roaring like a fighter jet. I'm glad you are aware of the impact it has on your kids. My "children" are middle aged now and they still can't handle seeing me that way.
Alas, I still haven't found a one-stop microwave solution for it, beyond leaning heavily on my peer support network to get me manage the symptoms. It helps immeasurably to have compassionate ears, ideas and emotional support to sort through the chaos.
Hope you find such support here. Welcome aboard.
