More panic attacks during period?

havent been sleeping well since I was triggered by family issues during a trip with Mom and brother. Mom kept talking about sex inappropriately and taking food off my plate without asking throughout the trip. They couldn’t function and gave me a really hard time about dropping me off at the airport; I felt like a hostage in the backseat. I felt suicidal and thought about overdose because I had all my prescriptions with me and I’d be alone in the airport hotel for a night. But the clerk was so sweet and the hotel was so nice, that I didn’t do it. I guess I should go back to therapy, but I have Clonopin, right?

Families huh? I cant even be in contact with mine so I understand what you are saying. I'm glad the clerk and hotel were nice and made you feel better.

Thanks! They’re not toxic enough to cut out of my life, but they drive me insane. They’re just lovable enough to keep dragging me back in

Hugs! Yes, I have felt that way just texting family. I haven’t been home in 4 years since a huge family blow up when my younger brother attacked me (we were adults and he was a Marine). Since then all conversations have centered on the idea that I provoked him and it was my fault. I think it’s great that you managed it and are away from the toxicity to recover. High five! I will say that for me, therapy is helping me manage my family and have a more meaningful relationship with them despite their issues and to keep it safe. I am thankful for that.
