Hey All... I saw some people were struggling yesterday and I want to send out hugs

I don't know if it's this time of year or not but I start to dip towards the fall... I am so much weaker since being septic and I don't seem to be bouncing back the way I'd hoped to... It's taking so long.... I hope that I'll continue to improve

I feel old...sigh

I was once septic too. I had bacterial meningitis of my brain from chronic sinusitis. I did bounce back. It took I would say 3 years. I had PT OT counseling domestic violence treatment. Treatment by an allergist 5 years for allergy injection. He ran tests. 13 arms of my immune system were down. I have had several vaccines since too. I hope you get better too. What helps me is staying hydrated.

there's nothing like lingering illness to help one "feel old." hope you feel better soon, suncloud.

the academic school year starts on wednesday here. baby sis starts pre-k this year and i am looking forward to the first free days i have experienced in four years. may i find something better to do than sit around drowning in my geriatric aches and pains. we see what grows.

It's great to see you Jewells.... I'm sorry to see that you went through this Dani..... I had a Staph infection.... No idea how I contracted it that got into my blood

I had a lot of therapy as well...... I had abscesses on my spine, neck and arm and was on complete bedrest for about 6 weeks in the hospital.... Agony

I feel grateful to have come through it though.... It's interesting to hear how long it took you to recoup.... I'm glad that it's not just me

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
