Mom keeps telling me to get a job

She does not get it.

I am not able to function.

I was fired from the last three jobs I tried.

Before all of this I was a corporate executive making 6 figures.

Dang this sucks.

Losing every material possession. Living in a friends basement.

Riding the bus. Ugggggg People smell. Talk loud. Play music loud.

Mom said the other day, "you have to do something."

No sure what. Nothing is fun. Everything sucks.

That sucks too because once I was the guy climbing the corporate ladder.

Now I am in a hole. Very deep hole.

She does not understand that I am not able to get a job. Plus what could I do with a minimum wage job? Nothing. Can't pay rent and buy food on minimum wage.

I tired to explain to her using an example of a friend she knows who's husband had PTSD from the war. I told her my mental state is like his. She didn't say anything. Maybe I need to remind her of that.

I did tell her a couple months ago about her husband (my dad) fucking me, A LOT. I did not use those words.

This is a gnarly dilemma. My middle aged son cannot function, either and I am a senior citizen. I cannot take care of him forever, no matter how many blameful f-bombs he throws at me.

Praying for sustainable solutions, Jimboboronio. Prayer gives me something to do when there is nothing I can do.

It's a hard situation. Don't give up hope fo a way to better. And absolutely send your momsome useful info on PTSD and what it's like inside "our" world. And she migh tneed some pro help, too, b/c if she knew about her husband's activities and did nothing? Issues. If she didn't know? (My mom's case where my sister's abuse of me is concerned). Issues. I'm finding ways to heal *with* my mom, and hope the same blessing for you.

BTW, ramble on. Where is it safer to do than here?

    Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol.
