My dog makes me smile. He is a cute little shih Tzu, 9 years old and acts like a puppy. He makes me smile every time I come home because he is so excited to see me, even if I have only been gone for 15 minutes!

My therapist assigned me some home work this week, to find small moments of joy and happiness daily. It does help, it reminds me to be grateful, and to stop and smell the roses. Life is fragile, and can be changed in a matter of moments, either for the better or for the worse. We have more power over this than we actually think.

Funny cats! The Internet was just a passing fad until Youtubes of cats came along, and then the Internet took off. Everybody knows that...:-)

Jokes aside, I heard on the news this week that Youtubes of cats are so popular that ISIS actually includes cats in its propaganda films so their propaganda clips will get Internet traffic. Can you imagine some guy in a bunker in Syria loading up a funny cat clip with his ISIS hate the world Youtube? We live in interesting times...

My little shihtzu mix...she always makes me laugh and smile at the silly things she does like going to bury her cookie and come back for another as if she's eaten it. Meanwhile, I find cookies buried in her bed, under my bed, in the couch. Then one day, when she's bored she'll remember, hey, I have that cookie stored up....will run get it, bark at it and wag her tail for 15 minutes. Silly happy girl. I have a pic of her in my pictures page. She's white with one black eye. My neighbor used to say every time I walked her, "hey dog, how'd ya get that black eye?!" ;-)
