Keep It Simple, Sweetie.
The transition back to the Austin Homestead feels complete. I am beginning to feel the need for other projects. Again, my morning meditation readers provided a healthy chew for the need. Yes, folks. Another "Courage to Change" share.
"How often have I had a dream I longed to pursue, but quit before I started because it seemed too enormous a task to attempt? Going back to school, moving, taking a trip, changing jobs, all these and many other goals can seem overwhelming at first.
I remind myself to "Keep it Simple." Instead of approaching the task as a whole, I can simplify it by taking only one step at a time. I can gather information -and do nothing more. Then, when I'm ready (if ever), I can take the project further. That takes some pressure off having to know all the answers and solve every problem that may arise before I've even begun.
I am also free to try something and then change my mind. I do not have to make a lifetime commitment before I even know whether or not my goal is desirable.
My plans may involve many actions and many risks, but I don't have to tackle them all today. I can take my time and move step by step at my own pace. By focusing on one thing at a time, the impossible can become likely if I "Keep It Simple."
"All glory comes from daring to begin." ~Eugene F. Ware
I am still dreaming about that mid-continental hydrology that is often called, "The Mississippi River Valley."

Of course, if I am going to take my river runs to the water instead of staying on the banks like I have been...

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I can't do much actively except try to hold to the faith.
Meanwhile, KISS: Keeping It Simple, Sweetie.
Step one: Just go ahead and take a shower. One small thing at a time.
KISS. Keep it Simple Showerhead...
I have gone back to my 40 day short term goal setting. It seems if I set a shorter goal I get better feelings of accomplishment and it pushes me forward towards the next 40.
Knowing when to step back and keep it simple, has become part of my new skills set.
