Thank you all for the support through the support in working through the ripple effect of the STBX crisis which flung my grandchildren into protective custody with the other grandparents and me into a PTSD psychosis. It has been a rough set of weeks. I am thanking the cosmos for the peer supporters who steadied me through the challenge.
This morning finds me preparing to make the three hour drive to pick up their father (my youngest son) so that we can got to pick up the kids from his STBX-in-laws and bring them back here for a week at the farm. My over-developed flight instincts are nagging to turn north out of the driveway toward escape rather than turning south into the cacaphony and chaos. Onward psycho soldier? I am working to quietly slide the over-developed flight instinct onto my mindfulness burner and go for the hope of a week of smile-filled grand time and parental bonding between the father and his children. He loves his family dearly and STBX drama has been rough on both him and the kids.
Stepping small, praying big and holding the love sacred. . . Hope healing happens here.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I hope you will offer me the opportunity to make amends.
Wanting to escape chaos I think is a natural feeling...…. I have no doubt that you have been a great blessing for your son his STBX and your grandchildren
I hope that you have a safe ride and a peaceful week...…. Small steps are good steps..... xo
Hope things go well with your son and grandchildren once you get there. Thinking of you.
The kids unanimously voted down the night at the Urban Homestead. They love this farm. Daddy doesn't love the farm, but he doesn't mind it and was enthusiastic to go with their flow. He has missed them terribly and vice versa. So we drove the three hours back and. . . Mission completion?
So far, so good. Still stepping small, praying big and holding the love sacred.
