Please, no advice. Memory work in progress. I does believe I am extremely vulnerable to power of suggestion during memory works. My pros think so, too.
A recent round of proverbial-closet discussions triggered me down the rabbit hole of sexual assumptions which began c.1964 when I became the first girl in the State of Illinois gifted math and science program and are still cycling to this day, long after menopause. The spiral through all the Janes, Johns and opinionated by-standers seems to have zeroed in on two sisters, one three years older, the other 1.5 years younger, who were violently positioned on opposite sides of the sex-proverbial-closet door. The elder sister was flamboyantly hyper-sexual. She could perform any letter of any sexual acronym registry. The younger wanted that proverbial closet door locked at all times. Her sex was NOT a spectator sport. I just wanted out of the middle. This is me, running for the safety of my own business. Diagnose it however you see fit.
As I rode the dizzy whirlwind of flashbacks, I found myself thinking that I have worked through most of these memories already, but they remain very separate. I think the memories are integrating into a coherent tapestry.
Maybe. Confusing, slimey stuff to sort. It really is too bad I can't just leave the whole snotty mess on the curb for the Toxic People Collection crew to pick up on trash day. Sigh.
Thanks for the sort space. Still sorting.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Hoping the flashbacks ease off for you Arfie.
Hugs
A phrase which seems to show up in allot of advanced skill training (e.g. driving, painting) is, "The less control you exert, the more control you have."
Seems to work here, as well. Trying to just let it run its natural course.
