I live in the path of the big snow storm predicted to hit today in a few hours. I'm ready, but in my experience in the past big storms have knocked out my electric power before.
If that happens and I don't log on to DS PTSD for the next couple of days, I wanted my DS PTSD friends to know it was for that reason and not to be concerned. If that happens I'll be back.
Good luck to everyone else in the storm's path.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Donna has a good point. A phone buddy really helps.
Prayers to all who are in the path of this storm.
Be safe Muji... I hope you'll maintain power... Big squishy hug...xo
Here we're in the center of this snow storm now. The community college where I teach closed at noon for snow. Already we have one reported fatality from the snow storm. Somebody who had their car get stuck on the road got out to walk and got hit by a snow plow. Sad.
Me, I'm home with lots of groceries, praying the snow won't bring down my power lines so I'll keep my electric heat on and my computer connection to DS PTSD.
Just stepped outside and the snow's falling steadily. It's up over the tops of my car's tires now and rising. Everybody's staying off the roads except some kid with a 4 wheel drive pickup who had to prove to himself his truck was actually a 4 wheel drive. Um, they get stuck, too.
The news reporter on tv brought up the idea that we probably won't have school on Monday because of the gusting that's also blowing the snow into white out conditions. It's a big storm. But I still have power! I'm enjoying every minute of that.
It continues to come down, but I continue to have electricity! Yay!

Snow is up to the windows on my car now. Biggest snowfall I have ever seen, and I lived in Chicago years back.
Therefore, I am in Maui on vacation and nothing but sunshine. I could sure move here if I was American..you have the best states!!
Hunger down Muji, I sure hope you don't loose your power and Atec keep the chocolate going :)
We got 3 feet on my street. I've got to find somebody who'll lend me a shovel so I can get to my car for work tomorrow. Lots of white stuff all around!
