I don't know WHAT the future holds, no one does, but just a little faith and it gets better. You can't listen to this illnees. It want s to kill you.
My "father" had a penchant for little girls. A great many other horrors were performed on me by brothers and brothers' friends; even had a therapist once who made me into nothing with sex.I spent 16 years in an abusive marriage...that ended relationships for me-1991.
I have two grown children and two grandsons.
My children do not understand PTSD, and have no respect for me as a person.
I am a Brooklyn girl, volunteered at Ground Zero as an R.N. to help evacuate--more PTSD...I sold my house in NYC and trusted my 33 year old son to hold the half million till i got out here, settled, helped him through his divorce, took care of my grandson, and son----he took off with the money and my grandson.
Like you, nothing i do with good intentions, and true generosity of spirit is worth anything. "No good deed goes unpunished"
I am a survivor-i feel great empathy for you-you are not alone...
it's gotta get better than this! I've spent 40 years in therapy, and only now know my true diagnosis.
I work diligently at making myself feel good at least once a day-prayer, meditation, yoga, walking my old dog, and trying to get back to NY--I will always be a New Yorker-a Brooklyn girl from what used to be the slums--
Most of all- I want you to know that you are not alone--
At some point in our lives, things will get better---hunker up and
get ready to feel better--I wish for you all good things-hugs-vangie
Sometimes i wonder why that is??
You're not alone in how you feel, i try to feel better and IF and when i do, i look around and see much suffering...
WE are living in hard times my friend,i guess all we can do is live one day at a time, and if no good deed goes unpunished, still we know whatever happens we did it from our hearts.
I wish us freedom.
i'm proud for you hink! hugs-vangie
Well you have a lot on your plate. Good news is that you are not the only one to feel or that have felt those things. You are unique but in a wonderful and glorious way. So much has happened to you but out of it grew a love for music(a gift), children to name only two things. This is my own opinion but each taste of someting good or a good life is not to tease you but to keep you going to the prize. Sometimes there are answers just not ones we like. Well I have so much more to share. If you want to talk check out my profile and stuff and contact me. Has far has God goes check out 1 Kings 19:11-13. God Bless, Sean
This happened once before with Seanmarsh's reply to something---
can you read it-can anybody?
I knew green tea made you hyper--but this is a little silly---Hey-DS--
Where's Seanmarsh's reply??? (okay so let curiosity kill the cat-i'd like that!) bad ole curious vangie
Been thinking about you, and others here--all of the same mindset-
so sad; praying we all have some renewal of spirit sent our way------------i think we all are due one-don't you?
Everyday i know more, and yet everyday i know less---it's weird---
can you relate to that? I wish you strength to carry on--vangie
