I gave the disrespect thread here to my boss

It's so great to report that I actually printed off the thread where I posted about the classroom disrespect issue I asked for support on. I printed it off with the DS PTSD replies from right here saying I should ask for help from my boss at work. Then I actually gave the print off of the thread from here to my boss at work!

She decided to take charge and be the bad cop and deal with those students' disrespect on my behalf.

I'm telling you, DS PTSD really helps me in my life offline. Thank you so much. I wanted you to know in this follow up you made a difference.

Glad to hear these little immature, ignorant students will get a life lesson on being what happens when you are an *sshole. It is good to be supported at work. Glad it is working out. You do not need to put up with that crap. They need to respect you, the subject and the others in the classroom. Time to grow up kids!

I'm glad you have a supportive boss! That is great. And a good step in sticking up for yourself. Maybe one day sticking up for oneself will be a natural reaction.

HURRAY FOR MUJI!!! That was *brilliant*. I never would've thought of using that as a tool in the toolbox.... a printout of DSPTSD thread.

So glad your boss was amenable to the bad-cop role. Go, Muji!

    Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.
