Hurricanes and an earthquake, too?

I gave myself a night out to a sports bar to watch my KC Chiefs play the SuperBowl champ Patriots.  No disrespect to any Patriots fans, it's just that the Chiefs were such underdogs and yet my Chiefs won!  


It's a silly thing by comparison to all of the PTSD problems we've all had lately, I know, but that was kind of the point for me.  To have a chance to focus on something silly for a change.  It was a great break from all the troubles lately with PTSD ADA accommodation at work.  


My attention on hurricanes is compounded by the fact that there was a 8.1 earthquake in Mexico near where I want to retire asap and get away from this workplace stuff for good.

Yikes.  Mother Nature seems to be angry these days.  Thoughts and prayers to all in Texas, Florida, and southern Mexico today.

I'm so thankful for all of the meteorologists that have spent so much time studying this stuff and are able to give us warnings.

Mother Nature is always twitching somewhere. A mere twitch for Her spells natural disaster for the location of her most recent twitch, but the cycle of life just keeps on ticking. . .

Glad you took some time for levity. I am ever more convinced that the only real mistake we can make in life is to take it too seriously.

Great post muji to remind us not to lose sight of the joy and laughter .... it's always there but it's also easy to let the pain overwhelm us....

It was a great game for Kansas City. Came from behind for a win. Glad you had a night out and enjoyed yourself. To me this is good medicine and self care as well.

I know I have been watching all the hurricane in shock. Brace for Irma and prayers to all of you in her path. Jose to follow and Harvey just left!!!! Sending prayers too

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
