So, a little background, I was sexually assaulted at the college I went to after graduating highschool. Lately I have been doing much better mental health wise and so I am trying to get back into dating because I really haven't been with a guy like that in like 4 years. I've gone on some dates and they have been okay (not that I ever get a second date so I guess they maybe don't go as okay as I think they do.)
Well, on Tuesday night I went to hang out with this guy and I felt like it went well, we got food, cuddled, watched a movie and he was really nice. Then he wanted to do a little more, I said no and that was it, he was okay with that, we hung out for a little longer and then I went home. He hasn't really texted me since and I've already been feeling kind of bad about that. But then I was thinking about it more today and it made me really sad because honestly, he was not really okay with not having sex; he was very clearly annoyed with me. But because he didn't assault me, in the moment my brain told me that everything was going really well and that he was perfectly ok with it even though he was clearly annoyed about it and kind of being an immature asshole about it.
So now I'm sad and kind of scared because now I am just wondering how much it would take for my brain to be like "hey this is not okay behavior." Has anybody else felt like this or dealt with this? It really has me extremely anxious and just sad.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

personally, i spend as much time as i need with my therapy peers on that second step to grow some confidence that i am moving in a solid direction.
it's great that healing has happened, but don't rush the convalescence. setbacks happen all too easily when you first leave the sick room. easy does it.
steadying support while you work it out.
It's only been a couple of days though since you saw him.... He may still call
He tried something and you said no and he accepted it.... At least that's what I'm reading I think??
The getting to know you stage can be confusing for sure... xo
