Having tough neuropathy nerve pain day

As you know, in 2009 I had a bad psychiatrist overprescribe me Seroquel for my PTSD nightmares to the point that he gave me lifelong Chronic Kidney Disease to double the trouble of already having lifelong PTSD.


Since my kidneys can't oxygenize my blood enough to feed oxygen to my body's extremities, I suffer from regular hot neuropathy pain when a starving nerve protests before it dies.  Today it's been a shooting pain from a dying nerve all the way down my left leg to my big toe.

Sending you hugs and lots of prayers! I know neuropathy pain all too well as you know (as well as my other pain) Always here if you need someone to talk too you know you can always send me a message! I can not take any of the neuropathy or fibro meds, they not only put weight on me (especially cymbalta 70 pounds ugh and was hell to get off of) But gabapentin and lyrica tried to kill me, lyrica was the worst we went to urgent care because i was retaining fluid, then they checked my oxygen right away and sent us straight to the ER and called to tell them i was coming, i never saw the waiting room, they said it was quicker for us to drive there than wait for an ambulance. My oxygen was in teh upper 70s only. I was on oxygen for 2 montsh 24/7 before i could wean down to finally get off, this was almost 2 years ago now i believe. Very scary! The fluid damaged my lungs at the time and liver etc by pushing so much fluid on them. Thankk God i have not used oxygen since i had covid december 2022 and my asthma disappeared in January 2023. Have not needed one single inhaler or med or anything have not been short of breath except when my pain is high enough i tend to hold my breath and breathe differnet when walking.

I do get the not being able to take meds to help it! The meds im on for my back dont even help anymore. There is a cream i get, started getting it on amazon first but its a lot cheaper if you get it on the actual site that makes it. It works so well, its a magenesium and pain cream and has hemp in it and it helps more than any pill ever has! IF you want the info please just let me know, Matt puts it on my legs and feet when im having a bad pain day with the neruopathy or if i get my RLS.

I hate that you have to deal with so much pain, i hate that any of us do! I wish i could do something to take it away for you or cheer you up!

Argh! I *hate* that in my leg, so I can imagine some degree of it in yours, amigo. MUCH healing puma power!

Thanks, y'all, Easter turned out to be tough going, but overnight the pain reduced itself and today I even got out and about a little. So grateful.

    Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it.  Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.
