my two year old did great in surgery but we are now a little nervous about her cough. Lungs have sounded clear since June but she’s had pneumonia twice in the last six months and her lungs were full of green mucus. It was difficult for them to break it up and suction it out. She still has a big cough but is seeming to be right on track with recovery and healing well. She is playing.

Spending the day with her dad was weird and hard. I kinda just put everything on hold but she was anxious around him, had fun but also wasn’t sure sometimes and sometimes was scared and didn’t know how to say “I don’t like that.” 

My parents are so kind and came a long way to wait and see her in not such good shape. They bought her a balloon and bear and candy. 

But they also stressed me out. Mom took picture of her not feeling well. It seems like she feeds off of anything negative so the hospital......bleh

My friend also showed up and seemed really nervous but was kind and prayed with us. I am so tired. Just thankful she’s okay and thankful for her counselor being able to fit her in next week. Last week was intense. I’m keeping a list that documents all the anxiety symptoms and odd comments
