Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Support Group
Find support with others who have gone through a traumatic experience. Whether you have chronic or acute PTSD, we are here for you.
I'm so glad to be back home safely from my good vacation in Mexico. I just got in at 5 this morning, but now I am back to reality and have to work up my nerve for a full day of tests at a hospital tomorrow.
Like some others here, being handled, even by good medical professionals who are just doing their job, triggers me. But these tests are necessary. As many here know, along with PTSD I've go stage 3 chronic kidney disease. Every few months we need to monitor whether I need dialysis or a transplant.
If I get a clear bill of health tomorrow, a by product might be being allowed to have weight reduction surgery later on. I gained a lot of weight when kidney disease hit me, and it would help my heart health to shed it.
Fingers crossed and prayers and/or good vibes of support for tomorrow's day at the hospital are welcome.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

Well, good morning to you!Today is National Roller Coaster Day. Are any of you going? It's also National Tell-A-Joke Day! Come up with some and share!I'm not bright with jokes these days, but I'll start:"Today I ordered a chicken and an egg from Amazon...I'll let you know." :D

Prayers in progress. . .
As to my PTSD, I did great most of the day, but getting thoroughly prodded wore on me so I was in no mood by the time I went to my last appointment at 6pm.
I'll need some rest to get my mojo back. There are some important computer skills tests I have to take tomorrow and Saturday to re-certify for teaching online courses next semester at the community college where I work.
It never stops, huh? And neither does your support!
