Things have been going bad enough that I have just fallen numb... and now that is not enough.
hubby has been a butt lately, I have been chalking it up to stress. I stick my tongue out at him, we hug and all is well - other than the growing sense of doom in my guts.
Yesterday my daughter got back to help us pack. That was nice, but the house was oddly silent. Hubby went to bed at 7pm???? yeah... not on purpose. Four hours later he was up and shaking... the first sign of a bout of cellulitis. We ALWAYS keep a couple days supply of antibiotics on hand as the sooner he gets them, the faster he gets better. Delay of three hours can put in him the hospital for a week with temperatures as high as 108.
I am so tired of going round and round with the doctor who has been treating this for the last seven years, because he keeps cutting the dose of antibiotic in half!! This is the third episode hubby has had in 7 weeks - it is because he is not been on antibiotics long enough to fully get over the episode so a week or so later he has another one.
So we have an apt now with his new dr who is treating his high blood pressure at noon.
I want to curl up and just be numb... but instead I am making phone calls and getting dressed to go into town.

So far this year he has had five or six? Memory is faulty here. Each episode takes him down sick for about a month after the antibiotics are done - but this is the first time he has not recovered from one episode before having the next... I am not sure if the Dr wants to pad his pocketbook or has just gotten so old he can't remember how to treat hubby...
I am going to write out a bullet list of his history with cellulitis, the symptoms, and what works to get him healthy again. I just hope it works.
