Yep, being under house arrest is no fun. I have been able to go out once last week and once this week. Yes, it does make a difference. I'm guessing that
the reduced nutrition and some weight loss are not helping your energy level. Hopeful hugs.

Hugs Muji! I can relate. Three kids via c-section. My saving grace was it was late spring and I could take them for walks around the neighborhood. Hoping you get approval to go out as well!

What surgery, dear friend?

Bariatric, Milla. 85% of my stomach was removed. It'll be great for weight loss by the time I retire in 2 years but right now I'm paying my dues.

The follow up appointment yesterday went well. However, there's always something, isn't there? Because of kidney disease neuropathy in my legs I often will injure a foot or twist an ankle without realizing it and end up on crutches. Wouldn't you know that's what happened yesterday?

But my friend helped me with the crutches, and when we got to the hospital they provided a wheel chair, so though it hurt a lot we got around fine. What mattered most was the appointment with the doctor. My incisions are healing well and I've already lost 15 pounds in 10 days, so I'm on track for recovery and also to get the results expected from this surgery to begin with.

Thanks for your support everybody. I'm back on the couch convalescing again, but boosted by the appointment's results and by just getting out of the house with somebody.

You're doing great! That's great to hear how much you've lost in such a short time! Way to go! Sorry you messed up your ankle. That must hurt. I ripped an internal suture. That's where 90% of my pain is still coming from. Glad to hear how you're doing. Big hugs!

Eek, PP, you ripped a suture? Ouch. Take good care of yourself. I was lucky, mine checked out ok in my follow up appointment.

The only thing keeping me home is this stupid foot of mine. I hurt my feet a lot with neuropathy numbness, twist an ankle without realizing it until it swells up and can't be walked on, that sort of thing. But it's not surgery related, so I'm lucky that way.

Thanks for letting me know how good I'm doing. it's so great that it so happened that we had this surgery around the same time, huh? I appreciate the encouragement every step of the way, my friend. Hope your suture heals fast now.

You are probably experiencing lots of weight loss and therefore detoxing and your body is dealing with the drugs from the anesthetic...no wonder you're tired.

You will be feeling better soon and feeling much better in the near future I bet.
