Flashbacks after ogled in my undies
Last night near midnight I got the daylights scared out of me. I was watching a late night movie in bed lying on top of the covers in my scivies with my leg in its cast propped up on a pillow. All of a sudden I hear a commotion outside my hotel room door. Then a drunk young woman burst into my room followed by her equally drunk girlfriends.
I thought I'd locked my hotel room door from the inside, but evidently not quite. In a Penthouse Forum letter I imagine the predicament might have been interesting. But I have the build and look of Santa Claus, not to mention that I'm a 60 year old bachelor who hasn't dated in 8 years, so sexy to me it was not. I can make myself laugh about it now, but to be on display to a group of inebriated young ladies there on my hotel room bed in my undies was not funny at the time. I'm a sexual assault survivor, so it triggered my PTSD for the rest of the night and set me to having flashbacks that gave me insomnia I did not need. Yee-haw.
One of the young ladies, seeing me, exclaimed in Spanish, "oh, we must have the wrong room!" to which I roared back in Spanish, "YA THINK?!" The platoon of unsteady young women found traction at that point, and retreated out of my room to the courtyard to re-group and seek out the correct room in which they were actually staying.
They located it in time, and this morning they confessed all to the front desk manager, saying they thought I was going to kill them when they saw me there on display. Ha! As a Santa Claus type, not likely, but it does say a lot about how I do not enjoy being ogled in my undies.
Wow, I am so tired, and this was supposed to be a vacation here in Mexico. I really can't wait until this stupid leg heals and I can get this cast off and lead a normal life again...... But I do know what happened last night probably was really funny, looking back on it now. Wishing for a siesta while trying to lessen the flashbacks by taking that humorous approach. Peer support for my sense of humor welcome.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Sincere support for your sense of humor. Please tell me you have at least half a dozen good jokes from the encounter by now.
undies. Not even to that point alone. I view it as part of my goal for being comfortable with being me. One more sincere hug! Get well brave soul!
I also had the ankle pain subside enough that I could put a little weight on that foot and lope across the street on my crutches to my favorite Mexican restaurant. The waiters and waitresses and staff over there all know me, so it was like a homecoming. I'd been eating in my room alone all week, so it was great to have supper surrounded by all of those folks.
For the first time in 5 days, I felt like I was finally on vacation. Gracias a Dios!
So sending gratuitous thoughts that the worst of it was confined to written word and your memory and not living next door to the Kadashians on the internet. triple hugs~
