Got my community college's contract to teach again next year. That's nice to have in hand. Last year to year contract before I go up for tenure. If I get it then the contracts are automatic yearly ever after. That'll be nice security in my old age. I was really glad to get renewed because times are tight and they fired a vice president today at my community college. I'm blessed with a job I like.
Before coming to DS PTSD I had a couple of years of health trouble and an unstable work record from it. Since coming, I've been able to stabilize my health. I cope better now with my PTSD as DS PTSD support had to take the place of meds because of kidney damage. I've had this job at this point for 4 years, so thank you all for your part in that and my earning a contract for a 5th year now. As Tina Turner said it, you're simply the best.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

Holy cow, as I was telling 52 in a private message, today they fired even more people at my college. Today was a major day 2 of workplace housecleaning for our president. She's firing people because of how business is down.
The contract I got in the mail yesterday said I had until June 19th to return it signed. Nonetheless, I signed that sucker first thing this morning and mailed it asap. It's good to have a job and look at a 5th year in the same one for a change. Whew!
