feelings as a spiritual experience?

i've been struggling with depression in recent weeks/months. it is nearly 6 years since my son's funeral launched my second parenting career with his 3 children, then ages 6, 3 and 8 months. i call them my foster children to cut down on the verbage explaining my guardianship. officials need to check grandmas for restraining orders these days. i've even helped sibs-in-healing get those restraining orders. don't let the stereotypes fool ya. grandmas come in a great deal of variety. no, i'm not just helping out. i could use some help, if available.
we appear to be thiving, but the long haul is grinding. do i really have to keep going?
as is my 70 year habit, my temptation is to escape the depression. begone, you ominous cloud! ! ! i bargain. i bully. i ply logic. i doomsay. i deny. i repress.
what if i accept depression as a natural part of the human spirituality? would it be a spiritual experience to embrace the depression without clinging?
just wondering. . .

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

i got an evil grin out of your encouragement to enjoy those naps. over the course of this past school year, i have begun claiming my nap time as a requirement which must be factored into all scheduling. after umpteen awkward reminders, the full crew aboard my little ship of fools has taken to reminding each other so that i don't have too. the reminders are growing quite humorous. did big sis (9) just remind me that it's my nap time?
love naps. . . yummy, bummy, nummy naps keep the ship on an even keel
I'm so glad you're claiming tbise yummy nap's
For me I have to struggle against depression
I'm often in a higher form of it
BUT suicidal thought's then start to seep in and they can seem reasonable to me
I tell myself that a thought doesn't require an action
So I would just be really aware of what may creep in with the depression
I can't imagine how hard taking on 3 little ones at 70 would be Arf as much as you adore them
Prayer's sent...xo
