Not sure what hit me today, perhaps a multitude of triggers, hot weather coming in from 20 to 40C (104F) today and I suddenly felt myself dragging my feet and spacey in my nuget
Does anyone else notice this with lots of triggers in one day? I didn't have one heavy trigger, just a lot of wee ones that added up. Plus I had to go shopping for a dress for a niece's wedding and I hate hate shopping. Also first time with a service dog, so noticed lots of staring some kind, some judgemental

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

What breed of service dog did you get? That's exciting

I am sure the heat as an aggravating factor has escalated even minor triggers. I am with others here. Facing the heat and increased symptoms under a microscope. I try to deal with the heat but in doing so drain my reserves for managing my triggers. I spent $ to replace my old AC with a new one that works better , just to have a cool safe spot. Expensive fix, but I did sleep last night for more than a couple hours. Yesterday twanged every nerve I had. Trying not to worry is just ass much work I think.
Speaking for myself, I'd rather have to endure one big trigger in my day that was unmistakable than to have a series of little ones add up on me unawares such that I question myself for feeling overwhelmed. Don't be hard on yourself, we here can totally validate what you felt today--I know that I sure can.
As for being stared at, sometimes judgmentally, by folks who see you with a service dog, I'm sorry but the heck with them. Seriously. It's 2017, so they need to get over themselves, for real. This service dog was a long time coming for you, so let it soothe your anxiety and build up boundaries to keep their projections out. Peace to you, my friend.
Hugs hope today is better.
