Welcome to the Perseid meteor showers, the "biggies" usually every year. (The Leonids beat 'em one year IMHO).AND today much of the northern hemisphere will see 5 to 99% solar eclipse. How cool is that? Your best bet is to be in the UK or norhtern Spain, where totality is excellent before sundown. Me, I'll get a super duper tiny itty bitty slice of it, so little that it won't be noticeable. New...

... observed a solar eclipse.

I wouldn't know about the media talks on the subject. I barely even know who Ted Talks or Doctor Phil are.
Causes vary, and may range from vitamin deficiency to brain tumor to stress. Our brains are a final frontier, and wee're lost in space, so to speak.
My psych doc does discuss this stuff, but onky because I ask a lot of questions.,
It didn't go so well in my personal life. My brain being that way didn't show up when dating, but when somebody moved in together with me it became impossible to hide that I live in an overlap between fiction and fact most of the time. I'm used to it, but my partners never did get used to it. To stop it took too much Seroquel for my kidneys and they got permanently damaged, so now I live alone with my magic realism. It doesn't get dangerous for me, it's just weird. I didn't realize for a long time how ordinary other people's lives are when I've got this hallucinating brain. Now I'm starting to think that, just speaking for me, an ordinary brain would be really boring for me after a while, though I'll never know. I just go toward the arts and find imagination helps me live with it and even enjoy it.
One thing: when people offer me LSD or other hallucinogen drugs, I laugh at them. I say why would I take anything that made me trippy when my brain is trippy every day all on its own?
