Chew time. Just sharing a tidbit from my morning meditations. It be a tidbit I have tried for decades to find words for and I am just giving the new words a whirl. It's okay if it doesn't make a lick of sense this time, either. Works in progress. . .
Don't think about it. . .
The more I command myself not to think about ^it^, the further and further afield I go to distract myself from thinking about it. High voltage mania? My hyper-active metabolism has plenty of voltage to fuel the mania. Catatonia is my personal norm after I am far enough afield to begin leaping tall social injustices in a single bound. Even my hyper-metabolism runs out of voltage, eventually.
In giving myself permission to think about ^it^ in balanced doses, I avoid the escalation into manic distraction.
Testing, one, two, three. . . Am I making sense?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

High voltage mania sounds like a label to this definition. still not sure "if" I am getting this "it" you have been working on.
Loving support from to far away.
Wa-a-a-ay too far away. . .
If I'm able to find some type of a diversion that usually requires another person to focus on it can help but when I'm whirling I don't usually want to be around anyone
Please let me know if you figure this out Arf..... Big hug.......xo
In my psych herstory, ^it^ tends to be a summary of complex components.
Dunno. . . Pronouns can be tricky little devils. . .
I agree with you arfie...most aren't fighting over the same "it".
Be Muji who feels sad, don't let "it" take over my being and stop me from being me. Stay Muji in the balance.
Appreciation is easier for me than gratitude when the ^its^ are whelming. It is hard to be grateful when lost in a psychic cesspool. . . Small steps. . .
