My dogs are fed the easy way - every time the food dish is empty, I add 40lbs of dog food to it. It last about a month.
I refilled the dog food yesterday. I know they like it best when it is fresh, but it works for us. The collie is 'digging' in the dog food bin with his nose, trying to 'bury' his food for later... Did I mention that I just added 40lbs of dog food to that dish??? He is trying to bury his portion with the rest of the dog food....

We had a dog who'd cache her food---that was how we knew it'd be a harder than usual winter, LOL!
I ove animals!
My cat will sit in front of her empty food dish and just glare at us. If we don't see her, she'll follow us into the living room and howl and fuss then walk back to the food dish. She just walks back and forth between "her people" and her food dish until we follow her.
My friend says, "Dogs have owners...cat's have staff." I believe it.
I'm sure it made sense in his mind hahaha

I had a smart Border collie named Max years ago. Lived in the inner city. He was very picky as to what car hubcaps he chose to pee on. Only the best for him--Mercedes Benz, BMW.
Muji's too....my car is safe. lol
