Good loving takes time to learn. ~Pete Seeger
Hubs and I have launched a few rounds of our own Tit for Tat over the course of the MIL/DIL blowout. We paused to celebrate our progress each time we recognized the volleying and stopped. You said. . . And you said. . . But you said. . . Ooops. We doing it again. Ouch. Our most recent theme is who is the sorriest for our own fault in the gooey mess. You win, Dear. You be the sorriest sorry ass in the car. . . Yet another trophy for your dusty collection. No, I ain't dusting it for you this week, either.
Tonight we decided on the geographical solution again. Having the road warrior grammy on the road doing something she been trying to get to all along makes allot more sense having a crying baby, a pregnant woman and a schizophrenic husband sleeping God knows where.
Still, I am running from family instead of toward a bright future. I didn't get my going away party this time either, but. . .
Small steps, big faith and lots of prayer.
Just an update. I leave in the morning.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

If I understood you correctly, safe journeys, arfie.
Never been to Cape Girardeau, nor Missouri, but as geographical relos go, sounds like a good balance of far-yet-near.

It be the rivers I am after. The political divisions on the banks of those rivers borders on irrelevant to my current ambitions. Me wants to be on the water, marking twain (safe passage). Don't care who is drawing what lines on the river banks.
But. . .
I am still running from family, but I am carrying a thread of continuity from my studies at La Universidad del Azuay where I studied environmental biology in 2007 and 2008. Weak, I admit, but. . . The books I studied there were all US books which had been translated to Spanish. All this time later, I still have not translated those studies into English. The information is not highly pertinent housewoofery and. . .
One of those books is from the Missouri Botanical Gardens. I worked a bit with a delegation there which was helping La UDA set up their environmental programs.
Lucky for me, said gardens sit very near the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Someplace to go when I need a break from sitting on the riverbank with my thumb out. . .
Maybe they sell monster-in-law costumes in their gift store. . . Gots to keep it practical, ya know. . . Support the economy and all that. . .
