The silver lining is that you still have most of your teeth - you could have lost them all in a car accident. Be thankful that you still have them. Kinda like the guy who complained that his shoes hurt his feet until he saw a guy with no feet.
Lastly, employ distractions - do things that you like to do that might help take your mind off of the pain.

So Im no relationship expert but have had my fair share of experience (married 19 years). What I would say to you though is: weigh the good against the bad, if the bad outweighs the good the n the question you have to ask yourself: Is the relationship worth saving? Love unfortunately is not enough to make a relationship work it is actually a TEAM effort. You also have to look at if his drinking is a trigger for your PTSD. If it is, you need to sit him down and have a serious talk.
Also good to see that you have incorporated some distractions like ice cream and movies :)
