Don't get me wrong, I'm not sticking my head in the sand, I guess I'm just looking at the positive and try not to beat myself up or get down about the bad times.
Sometimes when we are first becoming aware of PTSD we have not yet become aware of when we feel triggered, we feel crazy. You're not crazy, sometimes our subconscious or our body is reminded of our trauma without ourselves quite aware of what's happening.
It gets better with work and awareness, :) hugs.
I have also noticed that if I haven't had enough sleep, if my day to day life has more stressors than usual going on, or I am not physically feeling well, I am more likely to have random episodes of anger. They used to manifest as actual outbursts of frustration and yelling, but I have learned to recognize when I am beginning to feel the shift and I am able to breathe through it and walk it off before I explode at someone for no reason. It's hard as hell to do and it has taken me years to get there. I'm not perfect at it either, sometimes it still happens no matter how hard I try to stop it.
My sudden anger episodes sometimes are very evident and embarassing to me since at times I find myself talking to no specific person in public. That's how "into it" I get (for lack of a better term.
