My youngest son and his family are still with me in the center of my estranged family headquarters. The crack cycle is still cycling with Hubs, eldest son (37) and his significant other. Sigh. Can I ride somebody else's caurosel now? The dance through clan central still feels perilous, but it is holding steady. My grandkids (1 & 3) are having a grand time.
We came by a stroller for the babies last night which is ours to use for the remainder of the visit. When it came time to put it in the car last night, we ended up with a 5 expert committee session on the formula for collapsing the stroller so it would fit in the car. I snatched it and threw it in the car uncollapsed when one of the experts produced a toolbox. It was a very cramped ride. I found the formula easily this morning without the committee distractions. Yay me!! Another simplicity achieved.
As I navigate the confusion for this not-so-merry-go-round, I find myself making it a goal wait for the simplicity. Some things are either easy or they are impossible. Or am I *just* babbling again. . .
Thoughts, opines, reality checks and non-sequiturs welcome.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I have always needed time to myself .... Gentle hug sweetie.... xo
My thing was always to get there at opening, and leave either at, or just after lunchtime (a promise of McD's or ice cream always got the kids into the car without a fuss.)
I miss those days. My daughter promised me that she'd stay 3 forever. That said, I'm loving age 14 even more than I loved 3...
