Accepting Forgiveness Humbling
Today my new significant other's 12 year old son D is going for a walk with me to keep me steady. That's really nice of her to arrange for me since I was mean to her older son J when he triggered my PTSD by making fun of his mom for bothering to vote this week. 12 years of forbidden elections in Uruguay's dictatorship that tortured me giving me PTSD has made voter apathy a touchy subject for me. I had no right to kick him out of my house like I did, but I did. So now I'm welcome in my significant other's mom's house for dinner after walking with her other son D today. Accepting forgiveness is a humbling thing. I don't think I'd be as forgiving if the roles were reversed, quite honestly. Time to eat humble pie.

Mornings or Nights?*You can’t say both (or neither), or add stipulations, or make substitutions- just commit and pick one of the two choices!

how weird is it that "humility" and "humiliation" share the same word root with such radically different meanings? being humble is not even close to being humiliated.
So proud of you amigo

He really took the high road, and I'm really grateful it helped me take the high road following him, too.
Today we went downtown shopping for the daughter's school shoes and it was cool with her as well.
Seems these folks forgave me. Wow, it's really nice.
