Diabetes mixed with Seroquel I took for my PTSD 7 years ago, and my doctor mistook it for thyroiditis, treated me by mistake for that with radiation for a year, and I ended up with damaged kidneys that could only produce 40 per cent. So with 60% of my blood oxygen gone, by the time blood got through my body to my extremities, it didn't have enough oxygen in it to feed the nerves in those extremities.
That's how my nerves died so my legs went numb from the knee down. I have to walk with a cane.
To do what we can to save the muscles in my legs, my doctor ordered physical therapy, and I began it this week. My physical therapist worked me hard this week, and what nerves I had left hurt. While he worked me in my pain I chanted a PTSD chant, breathing in and breathing out. It went like this:
"May I be filled with lovingkindness. My I be well!! My I find peace with my PTSD, may I be happy!!
May I have mental happiness, may I have physical happiness, may I have ease of well being."
I chanted that over and over in rhythm with my breath as my physical therapist bent me like a pretzel, bless him. It worked. My physical therapist was surprised at how much of his work I could take in today's second session, and I told him I had this chant, this secret weapon.
Thought I would share it in case anybody else has to push through some pain like I had to push through pain today.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I have a lot to push through/around right now, so much appreciated, Muji!
(((((Healing hugs)))))))
Lilmiss, I'm so glad you're gonna take it with you to your physical therapy, too. I hope it helps.
you are once again, an inspiration - thank you, Muji xo
I have a chant-ish like saying
"I'm safe in the here and now, the trauma is over in the here and now and no can hurt me."
I'm praying that you will be able to walk without your cane very soon.
Big hugs.
