Some people think this site is more private than it is, and they post things that they would not want the public to see, or acquaintances. When I was a newbie I thought it was private,, but,, bumped into someone I knew.. gulp. Also got stalked, and threatened.
Of course, yes, if someone WANTS to have all their stuff out there then that;'s their choice, but generally it's because they don't realize how public this site is.

I live near NYC, very close to Ground Zero. 9/11 and the days and months following... too much. There is a radio station .. WEBE 108 that played music that helped us to mourn and get through it.
