Why does flash back come and go so often when we have had no sleep? This happens to me often when i have only slept 4 hrs and things keep popping up in my head . Dont know how to stop them from happening.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Any flavor of stress, physical and/or emotional, seems to worsen my flashbacks. Insufficient or poor quality sleep is pretty high on that stress list. Might even be the baddest girl on the list. I often think that poor sleep causes my dreams to leak into my day. Like daydreams with nasty breath.
I make them stop by working my therapy program. I have been building that program for enough years that I am sleeping much better and my flashbacks are closer to normal memories, however ugly they may be.
What have you tried so far?
We are here. I have spent a lot of time here sorting mine. They are now just the boxed dioramas, not gone. Just put where they belong, put up and away. So there is room to fill with something better. What you like is a good place to start. For me it's drawing and music. For you, if your not sure there is adventure in finding out too.
