Last night about 10:45 my PTSD triggers started going off like crazy. They got so bad I got light headed and the room started to spin. I then had a panics attack. This has never happened before and it kinda freaked me out. I realized the longer I stay up till midnight the more freaked out I get.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I like to take time to digest new awareness. It helps me keep my actions more focused. Small bites and long chews.
What else have you noticed about it?
All seem to agree that the healing of psychic injuries is unique to each person and the process is even more mysterious than dreams. If this is the first time you have experienced this, it is possible that it will be a one-time event and processing it through to the end will keep it a one time event in your own healing process. I am pretty convinced (proof currently unavailable) that flashbacks, et al, are part of the healing process. Kinda like T-cells amassing en force at a physical wound.
Keep processing, Violet. Worry about repeats IF they happen.
And don't push yourself. Take it slow. baby steps. Hurt can happen fast, but healing is always slower, so it's okay.
Gentle vibes,
Leo
