I shouldn't complain because I know that others have a much worse family than mine doing much more damage than mine.
That being said....Damn! I just found out my nephews son got married today. I wouldn't have gone to the wedding but it would have been nice to be sent an invite or even a FB message.
I moved an hour away (12 years ago, btw.) and it is like I fell off the face of the earth. One brother sends me a text once in awhile or he calls. You wanna know which brother? The one who molested me. Damn!
It is such an in between situation. They aren't cold or uncaring they are just clueless.
I haven't been in contact with anyone for months. They haven't bother contacting me. One brother did let me know when everyone is getting together for Father's Day but other than that there are no phone calls. No one takes a drive to see me. It is my job to reach out to them.
It hurts. I don't know why it hurts. Like I said it isn't that they hate me or are trying to be callous. It is just how they are.

I typed a big long reply then poof. Lost my internet connection. I'll try again after some sleep.
None will move until they have gotten their nightly snuggles. How long those snuggles last depends on the day - there have been nights I have given up and just used Misha as a pillow after trying for an hour to get her to move!
Once the dogs have their snuggle, here is the kicker, they both prefer to sleep on the floor!!!
