Been at Lake Larto, Louisiana with my dog, enjoying a media fast. It was not a planned fast, but it sure was good for my soul. Feels like it detoxed my mental pathways.
I am now in Monroe, Louisiana (almost in Arkansas on the Ouachita River), getting my DS fix, as you might have guessed. I have a party to go to this weekend, so I guess I am headed back to Texas, via scenic routes. Not making any promises to stay. My feets is still itchin' something fierce. . .
Central Louisiana is pretty, but it doesn't seem too bee friendly. Lots and lots of agriculture. I saw exactly one honey bee during my week at Lake Larto and it was dead. North Louisiana looks more promising. So far.
