arfie
She's ba-a-a-ack!!! Arfity, arf.
The San Antonio sort and pack is done. It was an exhausting series of days, but no blowouts and we got the chore done with reasonable efficiency. Youngest son and his wife were both still speaking comfortably with me when we left San Antonio a few hours ago, them in their sedan, me in the rental truck. Still haven't unloaded the truck, much less found places for that U-Haul full of treasures in our over-stuffed homestead, but my next goal is to leave that to the 30 year-old son and his wife while I get my focus back on getting my beloved through the two scheduled surgeries; one this Thursday to remove the gall bladder and another the following Monday to remove the stint and investigate the condition of his bile duct. Then there is still the hole, etc. in his heart...
Just an update...
Lots of adjustments ahead as we settle three more people into the already crowded Homestead, so prayers -by whatever name- still appreciated. Hubs tells me that Eldest Son was showing allot of signs of instability while I was gone. Sigh... Think I'll go have some Runaway Grandma fantasies... Maybe by candlelight in a hot bath... Maybe a toke to go with those bath oils?

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

(metaphorically)
Perhaps that will help all transition easier
The truck is unpacked and we even managed to return it on time. The house has been quiet since then. Messy and cluttered, but peacefully quiet. Rest is good.
See what prayers -by whatever name- can do???
We like our arfie.
