My craving for simplicity has had me quoting inspirational authors like a madwoman lately, while surfing the net for still more quotes. I have especially been inspired by the quotes that have come out of this group, so here I go, instigating another round. arfie, that first one spoke to my day today. "Genius is only a great aptitude for patience." I had a student who has a learning disability come by my office at the community college where I teach today.

He was feeling kind of insecure about school work. So we were talking about how hanging in there and seat time doing school work is worth as much as a high IQ any day. Now your quote links the 2. Thanks for that.

I tested high on the IQ tests from the late 60s and early 70s. I am utterly convinced it proves nothing more than my talent is (was?) taking standardized tests. Was not able to see where they tested anything that is real useful in the Art of Living. Certainly nothing that help me through the challenges of street life or recovery from those challenges.

Occasionally, I wonder how test geniuses from the 60s would score on the tests they are giving today and vice versa.

    Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard
